I chose Lavendar as a nod to the Lavender Menace Movement. During the fight for LGBTQ+ rights in the early 1970s, a group of lesbians and feminists sought to disrupt public legislative hearings to draw attention to the exclusion and discrimination they were experiencing. So much of this fight continues today. My hope as a lesbian in this world is to bring some healing to the LGBTQ+ community while also educating, advocating, and supporting those who need it.

The grounding connection of the grass, a tree, a flower.
We have access to magik every day if we open to it.
As a practitioner of meditation for many years, I am always reminded of how to come back to my breath. How to ground myself in my body.
My Reiki practice brings me home to myself every day. Reminds me that I am but one part of an infinite universe, pulsing through each of us. Connecting all of us to Spirit.
